My journey on YouTube started early. Really early….
It started when I was just 6 years old, back in 2006.
I made videos of a game called RuneScape in my parents' attic. I didn't have screen-recording software, so I literally stacked books to hold a camera pointed at my computer screen.
It all started as a hobby.
Then I realized I could sell in-game currency to my classmates for a few bucks.
The demand was so high I had to make YouTube videos explaining how to get the stuff, just to make my life easier.
That’s how my YouTube journey started…
Fast forward to 2013, and I started recording Minecraft Hunger Games videos and publishing them to YouTube.
It was getting enough views to make me a few hundred euros a month at the age 15.
Then, in 2016, Pokémon GO took over the world and my views exploded overnight, from 15K to over 100K per video.
People even started recognizing me on the street.
Some even showed up at my house asking for pictures (my parents were not happy about that, haha).
At around the same time, I discovered a cool trick.
It was a gray-area strategy called The "Unlisted Method".
Here’s how it worked:
You’d buy a few thousand views while your video was still unlisted.
Then, the moment you made it public, YouTube’s algorithm would see a massive, instant surge in viewership.
It would rank your video number one for almost any keyword in your title. The first day I tried this on a new, legitimate channel, I made €236 in profit.
I was hooked.
I went from one channel to multiple channels, fast.
And within 3 months, I went from €0 to €20,000 a month.
With that money, I flew on British Airways business class to Australia for the first time and had some memorable experiences.
I felt like I was on top of the world.
Suddenly, everything changed…
At 18, after years of building, all my channels were deleted due to copyright issues.
Everything was gone and I was back at zero.
Then came the true rock-bottom moment….
A bad breakup, coupled with being back at zero income, pushed me to the brink.
It was a hard, painful lesson…
But it was the turning point
I realized I couldn't just play around the bush anymore. I needed a real strategy.
